Three of the most famous faces in painting, remade as my own. One is someone else, one is me, one is no one at all. The real subject isn't the face you recognize. It's how much of a person you're allowed to see.
Clemfringements
You already know these logos, that's the point. They read the same to everyone, which makes them the perfect place to hide the things that don't: subcultures, jokes, and other signals meant for a few. How much you see depends on who you are.
Lost & Found in Translation
Take a familiar object and put its words into another language. Something is always lost, and something is found. Sometimes translation only changes who can read it. Sometimes it changes what it says. What you get depends on the language you bring.
United States of Clemerica
A flag is meant to stand for a single place, a single belonging. Put more than one on the same surface and none has to shrink. One is not a fraction of where one comes from, but all of it at full strength. The question is whether anywhere has room for that.
